Judging Others - a pre-Rosh Hashana post

A mentally disabled man sits down with two other people, greeting the man warmly.

Man: Sit over there. It will be more comfortable.
Woman: [waves her hand in front of her nose in a "he stinks" gesture.]
Disabled man: [waves his hand in a "no big deal" gesture and remains seated]

Man and woman continue to chat while disabled man mumbles to himself.

A few stops later and the bus is now full. A foreign woman gets on the with her arms full of packages. The disabled man gets up and insists that she take his seat.

What's going on here?

Either there's something wrong with this bus, or the driver has OCD.
The doors open and close 5 times at every single stop.

Taking it a Little Too Far

Stuck in traffic about two feet past the bus stop. A guy raps on the door. Driver pretends not to notice him.

A minute later a woman knocks on the door.
Driver: "Tomorrow! Tomorrow! Not today, tomorrow!"

(It is illegal for him to stop for people when he's not at a bus stop...)

Impressions

A bunch of "shana aleph" (first year) yeshiva boys, straight out of high school, are making fools of themselves and talking loudly enough to disturb everyone in the back half of the bus.

The bus passes under the Calatrava Bridge of Strings, largely debated as not belonging in Jerusalem because it looks too modern compared to the surrounding buildings made of ancient stone.

Yeshiva boy: This bridge is the only nice thing Israel has.

Mind Your Own Business

Old Man: Why are you wearing a hat on the bus?
Me: Because I'm religious.
Old Man: Oh......
Is that your real hair?
